Today, twas a good day cos i got to skype with VEWENN :D i was very innocently doing prework, trying to figure out what was happening at chem labs tomorrow, when suddenly my skype starting blinking and i saw:

OMGOMGOMGOMG after teaching wen how to turn on her video and all we finally got the chance to have a nice loooooong chat. I'm so glad she's having a nice time there! I miss her SO much :(:(

We managed to update each other about uni life, other interest(s) *ahem*, old memories, and how i was stupid enough to let go of something i shouldn't have but hey, que sera sera, whatever will be, will be.

Then she gave me a tour of her room, and decided to pull out a knife -___- hehehe, OH bit ofcourse i pulled out my huge red scissors too and decided it was worth taking a snapshot of!

My lowest ebb

When you feel low, lower than low, what do you do?

I choose to cry. Then i choose to drown my sorrows by trying to go to bed.

But for once, it did not work today. I felt worse in fact. My nose was blocked from all the crying and i could not have felt more alone.

Thankfully, i chose to call the right person, and at the right time too. Syaz, i know i've said this too many times already but THANK YOU so much babe <3 

When the whole ordeal was over, i still felt slightly shit, and normally at this time, i'd fall asleep from the buckets of tears my over-worked tear glands have been producing. Today, i chose to go on msn, and Wai Han showed me this:

Lights off

So wanshing walked into my room this afternoon and was like "Eh, do you know that Earth Hour is on today?" So from that we decided to take part and i signed up and did that blog post below. As my friends would know, i'm not exactly a "save the environment" enthusiast, in fact i never really think about the environment :| sorry environment! It doesn't mean i go around throwing rubbish everywhere or spraying aerosol cans just for fun okay, i'm not sick minded, but i guess i just don't join causes/use eco-friendly products/constantly play a huge role in saving the environment. 

That's why i thought Earth Hour would be something good to take part in, since it is only an hour! At 8.30pm sharp, we switched off our lights at home and when we first did, wanshing&I sat in the dark for abit - and i thought we were slightly noob -____- but then i decided to light up the candles i bought from ikea, just to have some light around the house. I kinda enjoyed the warm glow made by 6 candles, that i'm kinda sitting in my room now with no lights, only candles. Extended earth hour i guess? 

Alrightyyyyyy i think it's time to blow them candles and get back to studying. No wait more like start studying cos i wasn't even studying to begin with -______-"

Earth Hour 2009

Earth Hour 2009 is fast approaching! With the countdown of 4 hrs and 25 mins to go, there's still time to sign up and take part in reducing climate change. All you have to do is turn off your lights tonight, 28 March 2009, for 1 hour from 8.30pm-9.30 and you're done :)

For noobs out there, here's a snippet i took from their site about Earth Hour.

I did not skip my chem lecture today *pats head* and although the weather was being a biatch, Wanshing and I still went grocery shopping. Finally the weekend again (shit damn fast) and it's week6 next week. Assignment due dates coming up srslyyyy. I need motivation. Study buddy anyone? I need to find a place - somewhere other than home with wireless, where i can sit, ilecture my ass off and be motivated to study/complete assignments. Any suggestions?

My my, how time flies! I was just about to do a quick birthday greeting for a dear friend of mine, when i looked through Facebook and found this! This was taken after surprising Doreen with her cake and although it was simple, it was good fun!

Birthday cakes and birthday songs @ the Dining hall during dinner has become a tradition in the MLC Boarding House. Looking back, i honestly miss being able to celebrate those special days with them girls! 

Today is Doreen's 18th birthday and I just wanted to wish her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (she might actually kill me for putting up this photo of us in "boarding cbf clothes":P :P)

So anywayyyyy i've actually been busy lectopia-ing these couple of days since i conveniently decided to skip my philosophy lecture yesterday and also i've been trying to catch up on my chem lecture notes. I have now discovered the wonders of i-Lecting and may neverrrrr turn up for lectures ever again *slaps self* Definitely pointless turning up to philosophy that's for sure since i stone/zzz/stare at the lecturer anw -___________-

So so i've looked back at my old blog entries and i've decid

ed that my blogposts are too "today at uni bla bla bla" or "shit wanna go home" or even "blablabla said this HAHHA". I might start writing proper entries now (soon), about things that actually matter and since i've just sign up for Nuffnang Australia, hopefully i could start writing advertorials(can i even do that)?? I had Nuffnang Malaysia okay and obv not much progress with my pathetic traffic shhhhhhh shaddup. Nevertheless i'll still blog like i always do about uni/life/stuff happening but maybe at times i'll blog about other things like.... aiya i lost my point lah this paragraph is so bullshit.

Not so terror Tuesday

Gelare waffles; Half price Tuesdays

So Terror Tuesday wasn't such a terror since i had no chem labs this week :D I was meant to have an hour of HumanB this morning then a 4 hour break till 2pm. 

At 7.30 i literally smashed my phone trying to switch the damn alarm off and at 7.40

am i actually dragged my sleep deprieved ass up to wash up.. only to make the decision to skip my Human lecture for 2 reasons:

1. I don't listen anw and always end up sleeping so i might as well sleep at home

2. It was too much of an effort having to go all the way to uni, attend one damn lecture then go all the way back home for my 4 hour break then come out again for my lecture/lab in the afternoon. (besides waste my precious time and 77 cents HAHAHHAHAHAHAH)

So i decided to text Ying to let her know i wasn't goi

ng, set my alarm to a more decent time then zzz again. When i finally got up (in a less groggy state) i studied a bit more for my Human quiz then watched Ellen on tv. Finally left the house at 1 feeling damn refreshed. Not such a terror after all.

MY ZOOLOGIST TUTOR LET ME OUT ON TIME TODAY OMG OMG OMG LETS CELEBRATE. Like seriously at 5.30pm SHARP ON THE DOT she was like "okay you can go" and i swear i felt like dancing at that moment LOL :P :P

We finally had our waffles tonight and it was the ending of a pretty okay day at uni when shit happened involving a fucking landrover with a BLIND driver plus another random maroon car. No details kthanks.

It's 2.23am and i really really need to sleep. Intense philosophy tute tomorrow omgz wish me luck plssssss.

Btw, in other news;

My humanbio tutor is a serious (insert word here) and last week she INSISTED that EVERYBODY had to do IRIS or else you'll FAIL and get ZERO on the semester report blahblah. So i decided to ask someone who'd know the real deal since i swear IRIS has not appeared on my webCT page and i asked the reid lib people and he gave me this -___- face and said "err if it doesn't appear on your page then you don't need to do it". So i emailed the unit coordinator, and that (see below) was the reply i got. So beat that woman. pls go and dissect something or wtv and i don't give a damn if you're a damn zoologist you noob.

IRIS is compulsory for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science or combined BSc degrees.   If you are enrolled in a Bachelor of Health Science which is administered in another faculty (Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Science) you do not have to do IRIS.

On Friday, i had this question thrown at me "So what can you end up doing with a Health Science degree" and frankly it isn't the first time! I am saying this once and for all that i don't exactly know what i'll be in the future with this degree YET but we are only in our first 5 weeks of sem so go away okay! I'm not rushing to find a job tomorrow or something so leave me alone. Yes my degree may not be the most handy degree to have around unlike commerce or something similar and i can't start working in some firm the moment i graduate but SO WHAT i have chosen based on MY liking and MY interest. It's life at the end of the day so don't come telling me that i have a "bleak" future kthanks. ENDING HERE before i start raging.

Finally friday

Shit week4 passed by so quickly i didn't even realise it was already Friday! I was chatting with Emilie on MSN and she was like "oh so what time's class tm" and i was like "errr what day is it tomorrow?". What a noob. Have been in uni for 4 weeks already and still dont know what day of the week it is -____-

I just printed a whole load of lecture notes for chem and wow i feel so prepared for my ONE lecture tomorrow. Honestly, when i first dropped phil for chem, i slacked during the first 4 chem lectures. Instead ying&i talked about Benjamin Button (scroll down to read). I didn't print lecture notes the day before and i walked in empty handed where else everyone else has like nice notes that they could write on. Gosh i was so damn lost. It's time to catchup on workkk so this weekend shall be dedicated to that. I KNOW I CAN AJA AJA FIGHTING. 

Philosophy just got a whole lot bitchier, but it was nice to know that i actually understood the first 35 out of the 45min lecture today. NEED TO STUDYYYYYYYYY and do my weekly assignment that apparently doesn't get marked. Sai ngo geh si kan.

Aiya too much rambling for today i'm actually just blogging for the sake of it while waiting for my notes to print. I really miss the fastass laser printer at MLC where we could just print like 876984832870432 pages and noone cared. My little printer isn't the fast zooooom printer, instead its the leftrightleftrightleftright printer that is damn slowwwww woi. HAHA but then again those laser printers are normally damn huge and nothanks i have no space.

Doing the Karen Cheng

It's thursday tomorrow, which means only TWO lectures and i'll be done by 12 HAHAHHAHAHA. (oh ew that was so ugly)

So since it's a slack day tomorrow, i decided to um slack

Karen Cheng is the writer of her blog "Snippets of Life" and i've heard about her a few times but never actually got the chance to read it! She is a mother of 2 and baby number 3 is on the way! She writes about women, lifestyle, shopping and just being out and about, and it's interesting to read since she lives in Perth :)

It was dimsum this morning with Mich, Ying, and WS. I swear i'm coming down with a flu or something. You know that feeling when your nose starts getting blocked, you're constantly thirsty/dehydrated and it kinda hurts to breathe? YAH THATS ME RIGHT NOW OKAY AND ITS NOT FUNNY. I've been trying to sneeze out whatever it is that is tickling my nose but right now tak jadi lahhh. Ish so annoying.

Uni again tomorrow -____- two lectures at 9-11, then 2 hours break followed by lecture at 1-2. Another 2 hours break then labs for 2 hours. Tell me why so dodgyyy oneee?!?! Terror tuesday is coming up, which means that 3 hr chem lab + 2 hr hbio lab + 2 lectures in btwn. #*&@$^#&)

I've been back for slightly more than a month already and we're already approaching week4 of uni and i'm still feeling pretty homesick and i miss the folks back home. Thankfully dad's visiting in may :)

I need to do prelabs which are such a waste of time but sigh no choice. My Human tutor is slightly anal and everyone in tute doesn't like asking her questions cos she damn sarcastic about her answers..

NOOB 1101

Had my first actual quiz of the year in uni today and i seriously started having flashbacks of what having tests/exams were like in MLC! Though it was a teeeny ass test, it is my first written test in.... 5 months?

So i've decided, for my own entertainment purposes..

NOOB 1101: Guide to surviving the last 3 hours before your final exam (as a boarder).

The morning of exams 

1. Wake up like 3 hours before exam because you're afraid that you might oversleep

2. Recite over and over again terms and their functions/meaning and test your roommate while you're at it (if you're in boarding)

3. Get dressed, making sure that you are still reciting those terms either out loud/in your head

4. Brush teeth/wash face to freshen up, but maintain the reciting!

5. If there are other sleepyheads/very smart students in toilet, ask casual questions just to ensure you are studying the right things/just to test them for fun

6. Check that you have brought with you (in your plastic sleeve) about:

- every pen that you've ever owned, preferably all refilled and working (incase they break/    leak halfway)

- highlighters in every colour (doreen style- to highlight and make testpaper look pretty)

- eraser, ruler, whiteout, student card, pencils, 5 boxes of lead (incase all break at once)

- the maximum amount of graphics/scientific calcs allowed (kiasu ma)

- as many AAA batteries (in case calc dies)

- mathaid, maths notes and stats book (even if you dont use)

7. Leave for exam hall (still reciting notes nobody asked you to stop)

8. Arrive at exam hall and greet your friends who are freaking out as much as you are and go through last minute notes/recite notes/test each other

9. Jump around abit cos too nervous and go around wishing goodluck to friends

10. Walk into exam hall and find seat, take out pen/calc/ruler/highlighter until table is too full

11. Make sure table is not shaking cos the dodgy ones at MLC do -_______-

12. Start writing like you've never written before when the examiner says "You may begin"

AHHAHA this is called too much free time on my hands and i'm so sick of reading lecture notes cos it's wednesday tm so yay yay only 3 classes and i end earlyyyyyyyyy :) :)

Looking at our scarves/the mist i really miss the cold weather! I wish winter would come quicker, minus the shortened days ofcourse. Awwwwww i rly wanna go back to LA for just a while more...

Since it was week3 i have no Psyc labs, so i got off at 2pm. I was late for my chem lecture (again) and was stuck sitting next to noseboogie boy. It's this guy who always sits on the back row and sneezes and wipes crap on his pants, then talks to himself randomly and worst of all he sigh like to scratch, all over (go figure). Aiyaaa i terkena shock when i saw him again today ew ew ew and on my other side of miss french maid (she actually dresses like one) -_____-

Finally got out of chem and headed back home, with the intention of going shopping. Obviously that failed because it was so damn hot, and it was one of those cloudless direct-sun-to-your-face-until-you-become-nandos-chicken days.

Other than that uni has been pretty much so-so and my stupid 10min (totally pointless) human lab quiz is tm and i am so malas to read all of Schmitt's lecture notes because they are as boring as he is.. 

Gotta go lorrrr showerrrr.

Lol i'm liking this picture of the day thing since I actually have to look through my old photos to find a good one :) i lovee looking at old photos la. Anw todays was taken during the Christ Church Ball, and those were the awesome people in the limo :)

Like wahhh my legs look kinda shiny there and aww Anne looks good! So anw today was so meh and not worth talking about so I shall not. 

Other than that, i signed up for Advertlets just for fun and also to have another shot at making $$$ out of blogging. Not like i blog that much/have that many viewers, but i'm sure when i finally get that cheque, it'll be like wahhhh money out of blogging cool woi? Besides i get to do advertorials on Advertlets, which i honestly have no idea what i have to do at this point in time but i'll play around first! I was going to do one on the Vivienne Tam Limited Edition Mini HP laptop but sigh you need to have most of your traffic from Malaysia, and obviously that's not happening right now -_____- so fuggit.

Uni tomorrow, with lectures at 9-10, then 10-11. Break till 1, then chem lecture and im done done done cos i have no psyc labs. Hooray. I. Like. Short. Days.

My body clock is seriously fucked because i am here again, blogging out of boredom and NOT SLEEPINGGGGGG -_________- i can't sleepppppp :((

Another reason is that Iyesha is on skype all the way in Sydney and she's two hours ahead. That means that the woman is awake at 5am -______- whatever happened to the sleepyhead Isha i have no idea but apparently now, she's nocturnal ehehehe.

So 3am nights lead to 1pm "mornings". I woke up to the sound of my phone ring, and groggily push some buttons to make the noise stop. Then i looked at my transparent ikea clock and realised that it was already noon and i was supposed to have woken up early to:

1. Do my laundry

2. Read through the week's lecture notes since i've been slacking/stoning/sleeping at lectures

3. Complete my philosophy assignment for my tutor who isn't going to check it even though he warned that he might when he "feels like it"

4. Download episodes of GG 

5. Clean the house

When i finally decided to get out of bed, i went over to the Wanshing's room who was alo half stoned on her bed and was too sianzxz to get out. We finally did go get some lunch though and i did some shopping at Harbour Town. I managed to grab some super damn awesome good deals, specially with those black skinnys i've been eye-ing on since last week.

Oh btw, i've decided from now on i shall include a "picture of the day" in every one of my posts, just so that it doesn't look so damn wordy and it'll make me happy too! Todays pic of the day was taken after the 2007 boarders swimming carnival! i was tired i crashed while writing -___-

I seem to realise that my Friday posts are alot happier and less "i hate phil so much/ew lecture tm" like. I like Fridays, correction, i love Fridays.

Free fridays no more

PHIL 1107 is now out of the way and I have dropped that unit for *drum rolls* Intro Chem! People who know me would know how much i seriously HATE chem, but sigh there were no other choices cept for Physics -______- Calculus -_______- or Anthropology -_______-

So now i'm back to talking about neurons/protons/electrons sigh why does it have to be like that woi woi woi. Also because of Chem, i now have NO free days with one lecture smack at the 12pm timeslot. No more syok ass sleep ins tut tut. 

Tuesdays are now also THE WORST DAYS IN THE WHOLE WORLD because..

9-10am: Psyc lecture

10-1pm: Chem labs (WTF 3 hrs)

2-3pm: Phil lecture

4-5.30pm: Human labs

I hate tuesdays

Stab stab stab my tuesday timetable -_____- 2-5.30pm straight of lectures/tute today and just to make things worst my Human tutor kept us in for another 30mins today. People want to go home woi woi woi. Dahlah the stupid Ethics lecture was forkin boring that i totally zzz while he was blabbering on about utilitarianism (is that how u spell it zomg?) and how it's all about happiness-ism. ISH SHISH KEBAB. Got home only at 7, and was too tired to do anything else so i literally stoned infront of the webct/olcr website for awhile trying to figure out if i could drop my PHIL1105 unit for something less brain damaging yet maintaining my current timetable. 

If there are unit changes means great mesti go visit the sub dean all the way at QE2 which is a place i obviously have not mastered though i got lost for like 498287483 hours the last time i was there. sigh sigh sighh 

K i shall now hit the sack cos im so fobbing tired and i have psyc lectures tm morning followed by phil tutes. Friday pls come fast kthanks!

HumanB Lecture

Yes blogskin still dodgy but i cbb already la okay. It was such a chore having to wake up this morning for uni, specially with that damn syok going to rain tornado weather - but sigh sigh got out of bed anyway, got dressed, ate breakfast (omg first time) and left only to find out that it was a public holiday and there were hardly any buses around. Dodge but took another route to uni and got there in time anw :)

ANHB 1101 is still as boring and not as chim as Mich's notes (phew thankgod) but too much detail on Charles Darwin ain't so good either. Had Psyc with Dave Van Something and his lectures never fail to keep me awake lol.

Then I had a massive break from 11-4 so Ying&I met Mich&Wanshing at the city for lunch. Lepas itu we dashed to northbridge and drove around looking for a parking space. Parking was a somewhat bitch today, pissing Ying off and causing several funny ass conversations along the way..

Scenario 1

Man goes into car, shuts the door so Mich wroooooms to chup the carpark. Tiba-tiba he sticks his hand out and waves hinting that he wasn't leaving. 

Vicky&Mich: AIYAAAA not leavingg la him.

Ying: HAIH screw your cibai ass laa..

*Mich drives pass man in car*

Ying: UGHHH screw your wrinkled cibai ass la..

Scenario 2:

Our fob conversation - ended up talking about why we use it la la la

Vicky: ... What about XXX though?

Ying: She's a fob

Mich: But she doesn't dress like a fob though..

Ying: She dresses like a slut

Vicky: A FLUT HAHAHAHAHH

Ying: Damn wannabe fob laaa

Too funny too funny but anw we finally found a parking, though it was after:

1. parking in a spot that was for 5mins parking only (gave up and reversed out)

2. trying to park in illegal spot (scared kena saman)

3. made like 94834673647253 u turns at the state library

4. listen to ying make vulgar comments

BBT-ed, bumped into ngo hou mm seong kin geh yan, then baliked rumahku for Steven Chow movies. Lepas itu, baliked uni for Psyc lectures and then home.

Forkin dodgyyy

Yes i've been working at my header/blogskin for the past hour and i know it kinda looks damn dodgy right now but i'm too tired to carry on and i have uni tomorrow! My eyes are seriously about to frickin pop out of its sockets but at least now i've figured out how to mess with the dimensions of the header :)

Will find a more decent background when i can be bothered to and will see how it turns out. But for now, i need to seriously hit the sack for 9am lectures. Oh great, Schmitt is on for ANHB1101 again.

1st March 09

I just finished the final episode of Gem of Life and honestly quite dodge and totally random, kinda like the director got too tired/bored/fed up after 81 episodes so he decided "okay lets just put this scene here and this one here and voila it's a wrap". Seriously i heard that people in HK were so pissed with the ending (and i don't blame them) that some yelled at the cast/crew whenever they were out on the streets. LOL rumour tho so whether it's true or not is a diff story alltogetherrrrr.

Now that i'm finally done with this 82 episode series, i should seriously consider going to bed because it's going to be my last night for sleeping in since sigh sigh monday's coming up and uni's here to haunt me again. BUT too many thoughts are running through my mind that i feel the urge to rant/write down my pent up anger/disappointment/emotion(s) on this blog right here.

But but you may never know who is reading and even though errr i don't have readers i'd rather not be so gay as to write them up here just incase ******* reads it laaa woi then it'll be damn pais. So for now i shall just shut my frickin mouth and continue ranting on about nothing because i am trying to tire myself so i can finally fall asleep.

Something worth LOL-ing about happened earlier in the night involving Mich/Ying/Wanshing but i don't think i have the patience to write the story here right now so that'll prolly be in tomorrow's post. Somehow i like to blog nowadays, just because i am too bored and this takes up alot of my time.

Now i am tired and i shall return to the comfort of my double bed and proceed with my sleep. WTF is with this sentence i srsly better tidur before i chi seen and scare myself.
