Doing the Karen Cheng

It's thursday tomorrow, which means only TWO lectures and i'll be done by 12 HAHAHHAHAHA. (oh ew that was so ugly)

So since it's a slack day tomorrow, i decided to um slack
give myself a break from lecturenotes-ing and webct-ing. Instead i focused on laughing my ass out with Sara on the phone then stalking a new blog i found, karencheng.com.au

Karen Cheng is the writer of her blog "Snippets of Life" and i've heard about her a few times but never actually got the chance to read it! She is a mother of 2 and baby number 3 is on the way! She writes about women, lifestyle, shopping and just being out and about, and it's interesting to read since she lives in Perth :)

A lot of people have heard about the Karen Cheng Pose and there is even a facebook group for it! You can read about how it started here. I know i'm a frequent Karen Cheng poser, but imagine labeling the pose as "yours" woohoo :)

Got this off the Facebook group:

Tips:
Turn off the flash – or else you get bad glare!
If your pictures are blurry, hold the camera very still.
Still blurry? Then use the 2 second timer function on the camera to reduce the camera movement when you ‘click’.

Rules:
The picture has to be taken into a mirror.
You have to be dress up nicely (or at least, unusually).
You have to have clothes on.
You have to show your face.
You have to include your name and location ( and url if you’ve got one).

Ideas:
Dressing room mirrors. Elevators. CafĂ© mirrors. Big windows. Chrome objects and surfaces.

So i've decided, picture of the day:

Doing the Vicky Wong, at Bangkok Airport '07

Sorryyyyyyyyy lor. Abit sienxzxz mahhh. OHOH and i just realised, my last picture of the day with Sara was a Karen Cheng pose too :D

So anyway what i'm trying to say is, Karen Cheng's blog is seriously worth a read, and although it's not easy to relate to ALL her topics (parenting, pregnancy etc) it's still nice to read about what a mother has to say/write about her experiences being a mom and just being involved in the blogging world :)

That's all for today! Goodnight and yay Thursdays.
